Multi Ch. Jack Mack's Dilys De Dannan, geboren am 7. Februar 2001.

Ihr Name bedeutet: Die Echte, die Wahre aus dem Feenreich - als sie geboren wurde hab ich sie meinem Mann hingehalten und er sagte "nicht schon wieder" aber es musste sein, sie blieb bei uns. Dies war ein sportlich geprägter Wurf, beide Elterntiere hochaktive Hunde.  Nichtsdestotrotz hat sie in kurzer Zeit ihre Championtitel erreicht und wurde am 8. März 2003 zur Zucht empfohlen. Sie ist CEA (mit 7 Wochen) und HD frei, MDR1 (-/-). 

Sie war wie ein Windhund, sie rannte und rannte, nur für sich alleine und manchmal glaubte ich, sie versuchte zu fliegen. Sie rannte auch mit dem Sturm in jener verhängnisvollen Nacht im Januar 2004 und sie kam nicht mehr nach Hause. Am frühen Morgen fand ich sie dann - mit einem total zertrümmerten Bein.  Dank der Kunst von Dr. Hüttig in Reutlingen kann sie wieder laufen aber das ist ihr nicht genug und da wir hier viel zu viel offenes Feld haben konnte ich sie nicht mehr frei  lassen und so kam sie zu meiner Tochter nach Heidelberg, dort genießt sie lange ruhige Spaziergänge in den Weinbergen und Wäldern.

Her name means: The real thing, the truth from fairyland – as she was born I held her up for my husband to see and he said “oh, not again”, but it just had to be, she stayed with us. This litter was very sporty, both parents being highly active dogs. Nevertheless, she attained her championships in a very short time and was recommended for breeding on March 8, 2003. She is CEA (at 7 weeks) and HD free, MDR 1 (-/-).

She was like a greyhound, she ran and ran, just for her own enjoyment, and sometimes I thought she was trying to fly. She also ran with the storm that fateful night, in January 2004, and she didn’t come home. I found her the next morning with a totally smashed leg. Thanks to the great work of Dr. Hüttig in Reutlingen, she is able to walk again, but that isn’t enough for her. I couldn’t let her run freely anymore, and since we have so many open fields here, she now is living with my daughter in Heidelberg. There she can enjoy long calm walks in the vineyards and forests.
